The Treasures Society is a special group of supporters dedicated to the society’s mission of bringing history to the people and people to history. The generosity of these friends, who give $1,500 or more annually, make it possible for HSP to collect and share the stories of the people of Pennsylvania and their contributions to American history. The support is vital to the continued growth of HSP as Philadelphia’s Library of American History that serves students, teachers, scholars, genealogists, preservationists, artists, and others with a passion for history. Annual gifts from the Treasures Society provide important unrestricted support for general operations, including conservation, research, and educational programs. As one of the premier libraries on our nation’s founding, development, and peoples, HSP ensures the future of key aspects of our nation’s past.
