For the first time, you can now chat live with a librarian all from the comfort of your own home. Every Wednesday and Thursday from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. (EST), our staff will be able to assist you remotely.
While COVID-19 presently keeps our library closed, we're excited to be able to offer this online service. "In a digital world, the use of virtual chat platforms by libraries have increasingly become a necessity for delivering information and providing assistance to users. For HSP, we look forward to embracing this technology in an effort to deepen relationships with our patrons, provide real-time insight into our collections, and provide remote assistance with the various catalogs and research tools that we offer," says Anthony DiGiovanni, HSP's Director of Cataloguing and Reference Services.
